Non-essential travel with Canada and Mexico restriction continues.
President Biden’s administration announced last week that the U.S. land borders will remain closed to non-essential travel for another month. The coronavirus travel restrictions that began in April of 2020 have been extended by the Department of Homeland Security through June 21.
“To fight COVID-19 spread and protect our citizens, the U.S. is continuing restrictions on non-essential travel at land borders through June 21, while allowing essential trade & travel,” the U.S. Homeland Security Department stated. “We’re working closely with Canada & Mexico to safely ease restrictions as conditions improve.”
As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…
- For wisdom for U.S. officials as they evaluated the status of the coronavirus in neighboring countries.
- For the president and his administration to have discernment on travel guidelines and restrictions.
